There are identified coping skills, and techniques used in various evidenced based approaches which can aide in reducing stress, anxiety, grief, depression, and the effects of trauma. The approaches used by D.J. Tomlin Consulting PLLC are Behavioral Therapy (BT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Marriage Family Therapy (MFT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Spiritual Counseling, and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT). Group sessions and additional approaches coming soon.

INSURANCE

Diane J Tomlin Consulting accepts insurance for therapy sessions with the following insurance companies: Evernorth, Aetna, and BCBS of NC, Anthem, United Healthcare – OON.

You will need to contact your insurance company to inquire about your policy and number of therapy sessions. We will bill your insurance company if appropriate.

Co-pays are expected at the time services are rendered.

Intensive services are NOT usually covered by insurance companies.

10-minute free consulation

Is there something that you would like to talk through? Looking for a bit of guidance or direction? A 10-minute phone call may bring the clarification you are looking for.

30-minute virtual session

Are you feeling a bit overwhelmed and would like a quiet place and listening ear to unload? This 30-minute one-on-one virtual session may be just right for you.

45-minute virtual session

Do you need a little more time to process and sort through things? This 45-minute one-on-one virtual session may be just right for you.

60-minute virtual session

Do you have difficult and challenging situations that you are dealing with? Would you like to learn coping skills and interventions? The 55-minute virtual session affords you the opportunity to interact, learn, and model the skills needed to conquer your challenges.

 90 minute virtual session – couples

 Is communication, boundaries or challenges understanding each other. Would you like to learn the skills necessary to mauver through the challenges of being a couple can bring. This 90 minutes couples session can start you on your way with skills for clearer communication. You can schedule sessions as needed be it weekly, bi-weekly or monthly.
